Born in 1958 in Pune, Madhuri Bhaduri is a renowned artist with over four decades of global exhibition experience. She holds degrees in Economics, French, Hotel Management, and a Master’s in Art and Painting, alongside a summer course in Finance and the Art Market from Sotheby’s Institute, London. Her first solo exhibition was praised by figures like Maharani Gayatri Devi and Jamshed Bhabha, inspiring her to pursue art professionally.
Madhuri has since held nearly 50 solo exhibitions and over 150 group shows worldwide, with works in over 1,000 collections. Primarily an oil painter, she also explores digital art, resin, scrap metal sculptures, and murals.
She has received numerous awards, including the Sarojini Naidu Award, Times of India Femina Pune Art Award (2019-20), Amrita Shergill Rashtriya Kala Puraskar, and the Exceptional Woman of Excellence in Art award from the Women’s Economic Forum.
Her work has been featured in leading publications, and she is an active philanthropist, supporting charities, judging art competitions, and conducting workshops and discussions.
